As we’ve reported, Adam Sandler and Katie Holmes are filming their upcoming movie, Jack and Jill, in Fort Lauderdale, FL this month.
But, come to find out, they aren’t just filming in Fort Lauderdale, they’re actually filming on the Allure of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship which is currently docked in Florida, through Nov. 23. Most of the filming will take place on the upper decks of the ship, with the ship’s crew included in some of the scenes as extras.
The ship is having a big week. Not only has it been converted into a movie set, but The Today Show’s fourth hour with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb featured live segments from the Allure this morning, and, as if that wasn’t enough, it was named one of Oprah’s Favorite Things!
On January 16th, Taylor Swift is scheduled to perform on the Allure of the Seas during a full week of Taylor mania, including look-a-like contests, trivia contests, and karaoke.
