A new TV pilot, called Brain Trust, is set to begin filming in Portland, Oregon next week and they’re looking for extras.

The show stars D.B. Sweeney as a down-on-his-luck detective whose fortunes improve when he teams up with a trio of Brainiacs, played by Michael Urie, Jed Rees and Lindy Booth, and they work together to try to solve a murder. The pilot is being produced for TBS as a comedic detective series.

The company Extras Only is holding an open casting call for extras, from noon to 2 p.m., or 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 6, at 635 N.W. 16th Ave., Ste. A, between Irving and Hoyt in Portland.

The company is casting over 700 real people to be extras in the show but has urgent needs to specifically cast 250 athletic types who work out regularly, are over 18,  and are comfortable on camera in workout attire.

There’s an online application available at www.extrasonly.com (project code: Braintrust) too.

Brain Trust will not only shoot in Portland, it will also be set in Portland.

Filming starts Dec. 8.
