It looks like the rumor we helped spread about The Dark Knight Rises filming in New Orleans turned out to be false. But, we were right about one thing, they will be returning to their usual studio in the U.K.

Variety recently confirmed that The Dark Knight Rises will be back at Cardington Hangars, in Bedfordshire, U.K. Both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were also shot there so this isn’t too much of a surprise.

We also heard that Nolan and company will likely return to Chicago for most of the movie’s exterior filming next year too. So, at least as far as filming locations are concerned, it will be business as usual for Batman 3.
