Apparently, Scene Louisiana has been busy this week. First, they confirmed Brad Pitt’s next movie Cogan’s Trade will be shot in New Orleans and now they’ve confirmed two of the filming locations for The Dark Knight Rises.

The Scene spoke to Ravi Mehta, SVP of Production at Warner Bros. and picked up the following tidbit of information:

Scene: Are we going to get to interview Christopher Nolan in a couple of months?
RM: [Laughs] Someone took that story and ran wild with it. I know they are going to the U.K., L.A. and there will be a third city.
Scene: Is New Orleans at least in the running?
RM: Well, I’m sure! Why not, right? You’ve guys have got great incentives and [we’ve had] positive experiences in Louisiana.

So, the “where will The Dark Knight Saga be shot?” saga continues. Of course, being a NOLA based magazine Scene Louisiana is hoping that the “third location” will be New Orleans, but I’m thinking it will be Chicago. The U.K. and L.A. locations are no surprise and considering both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were filmed in Chicago, it seems like a no-brainer. But I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how it all pans out.
