One of our readers, Aaron, attended the world premiere of The Dilemma at Chicago’s AMC River East Theater on Thursday, January 6. He told us, “All the cast was there, Kevin James Jennifer Connelly, Winona Ryder, Channing Tatum, and director Ron Howard. They all stopped and signed for fans before the hit the media blitz. Way before the stars showed up, free tickets to the movie were handed it to the fans! So you got up close with the actors and a sneak peek at the movie!”
It sounds like it was a great time and kudos to Ron Howard for choosing to hold the premiere in Chicago, where the movie was filmed, rather than New York or L.A.
Channing told reporters that it didn’t him long to learn his way around the city while shooting there this summer. “I knew certain places to go: Kingston Mines and Underground Wonder Bar. Those are some of the more iconic places [in Chicago],” he said about getting familiar with the city. “I definitely was not lost. Once you have a couple of nights here, you know exactly where to go,” he added.
