London streets will be closed for 3 days for Royal Wedding, millions expected to line the route

People often complain when local roadways are closed for just a few hours so its hard to imagine how Londoners will react to three days of road closures for the April 29th royal wedding.

According to This Is London, authorities securing Prince William and Kate Middleton’s procession route between Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey say it could be blocked off for three days or more though the details of the route and closures have yet to be determined.

They are also expecting more than 1 million well-wishers from around the world to line the route, some arriving days in advance.  Increasing the likelihood of large crowds  is the fact that Friday, April 29, has been declared a public holiday.
