‘Contagion’ spotted filming at WHO in Switzerland

The first images of Steven Soderbergh’s Contagion filming at the World Health Organization have begun to surface.

Marion Cotillard, who plays a doctor in the film, was spotted filming exterior scenes at WHO in Geneva, Switzerland yesterday. Reportedly, there were more than 80 actors and crew at WHO from 5 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., though Cotillard was the only star at the one day shoot. A spokesperson for the WHO said, “She left for the airport immediately after the shoot. Everything went very well.”

As we’ve reported, the next location for Contagion will be San Francisco where they are expected to shoot several scenes, many involving Jude Law, over the course of two or three weeks.
