Last week rumors started hitting the web (including our own Breaking Dawn Open Thread) that Robert Pattinson had left Baton Rouge, where he is currently filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, and was back in Los Angeles for re-shoots of Water For Elephants.
The movie, based on the best selling book, was shot in Ventura County, California last summer but Robert and his co-star Reese Witherspoon were back this week to shoot a few additional scenes for the movie.
WaterForElephantsFilm.com first broke the news last week when they posted a Tweet for the film’s director, Francis Lawrence, who wrote: “just shooting a couple little additions and a surprise for the end!!! We’re almost done. Couldn’t be happier.”
The re-shoot brought Reese and Rob back to the big tent on Thursday and Friday where they shared a sweet on-screen kiss and Rob played with a baby who was also featured in the scenes. They also shot a cute scene in which Rob carries Reese through the mud.
Here are a few photos from the shoot, you can see more at RobertPattinsonLife.com.
Update: We were asked to remove the set photos originally posted here but you can see plenty more set photos at WaterForElephantsFilm.com.
