Last night Julianna Margulies won her second SAG award for her role in The Good Wife and she made sure she thanked everyone who has helped to make the series great.
Though the series is set in Chicago, it is filmed in NYC which she mentioned in her acceptance speech. “Thank you New York for keeping us and all the teamsters who have been digging us out of the snow for two week,” she added after thanking her fellow cast members.
Tomorrow the teamsters will be busy digging out the show again when they film through yet another storm in Brooklyn.
Also, Taye Diggs made a mistake during the presentation of the Best Drama award, when he said the show is about a New York law firm, when it is of course a Chicago law firm. Of course Boardwalk Empire, which won, also shoots in NYC and in Greenpoint, like The Good Wife.
Whoever wrote this needs to do spell-check! The grammar is awful.
Jared, spell check isn’t hyphenated.
Hats off to the teamsters! It took me hours to dig out my car, cant imagine what they’ve gone through…..
Hats off is right! Here’s to you, Uncle Gene!
More important than grammar and spelling is fact Checking. Locations clears the streets from cars, and yes the snow. In NYC locations is DGA.
