Director Miguel Arteta and Cedar Rapids cast members Ed Helms, Anne Heche, Isiah Whitlock Jr., and Alia Shawkat will appear at the Apple Store in SoHo (NYC) tonight at 7:00 p.m. to discuss their new film.
Cedar Rapids stars Ed Helms as naive insurance agent Tim Lippe who’s never left his small hometown. Tim has never stayed at a hotel or experienced anything like Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sent to represent his company at the annual insurance convention, Tim is soon distracted by three convention veterans (John C. Reilly, Anne Heche and Isiah Whitlock Jr.) who show him the ropes and how to push his boundaries.
The movie, which was filmed in Michigan last year, was an official selection at last month’s Sundance Film Festival. You can check out the full trailer here.
