Fan Photos: Matt Damon at the NYC premiere of ‘The Adjustment Bureau’

One of our readers, JC, was at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City tonight for the The Adjustment Bureau Premiere’s Red Carpet Arrivals where waiting fans were lucky enough to meet Matt Damon!

Here’s JC’s full report:

I went and waited for the stars of the movie to arrive at the premiere tonight. They had it set up where the SUV/cars are pulling up very close to the tent. I thought the wait would not be successful in getting any stars to come by across the street where fans were waiting. I got there about 6:30 p.m. and was surprised there weren’t that many people waiting at all. My first premiere was for The Tourist and boy, that was a mad crowd and tons of paparazzi. This one, no paps and only a handful of professional autograph hounds.

As soon as Matt Damon’s SUV showed up, I yelled for him as well as other fans to get his attention. He was game and came by to sign autographs and even pose for photos with fans. At one point, he took someone’s camera and took the photo of him and the fan and said, “I think it worked, the photo is good.” Hahaha. He also said, “I’d rather hang out with you guys than be in there (in the tent), it’s more fun.” He went down the line of fans and was really nice to everyone. At the end of the line, he said said he had to go and work.

Minutes after he left, I hadn’t even noticed Emily Blunt was posing with a fan for a photograph. I don’t know how long she was by the fans (if she started at the beginning of the line like Matt did or not) but when we yelled for her to have a few more photos, she was already being ushered back to the tent. Oh well, can’t get them all!

Thanks to JC for the sharing with us, sounds like Matt always enjoys meeting his fans! Check out more of JC’s photos below too:
