David Duchovny and Keri Russell shoot ‘Goats’ in Tucson, AZ

According to The Arizona Daily Star, the coming-of-age drama Goats is the biggest production to spend any significant time in Tucson, AZ in more than 16 years.

The movie features a star-studded cast including David Duchovny, Keri Russell, Vera Farmiga, Minnie Driver and Ty Burrell, who will be in town through the end of next week.

Goats is a “quirky Tucson-set tale of a friendship between a 14-year-old boy (Graham Phillips) and his family’s 40-ish pool man, Goat Man, played by Duchovny”. The film is based on the book of the same name by Tucson native Jude Poirier.

Filming is currently taking place at an “undisclosed house” in Tucson. According to IMDb, the movie’s other locations include New Mexico and Pennsylvania.

  1. WOW! The best cast ever. I can not wait to see David Duchovny and Vera Farmiga working together. Both are very talented.
    I remember a wonderful film called Return to Me starred by David Duchovny and Minnie Driver.

  2. They are not shooting at Tucson Country Club anymore. Drove all around in there today, talked my way through security booth (!). Haven’t been able to find any more updated information. :0( Love all these actors, how wonderful that they’re filming in Tucson!
