Just today we mentioned that Ted, starring Mark Wahlberg, will begin filming in Massachusetts in May, and now we have one of the movie’s first filming locations!

According to Patch.com, the film will shoot several days’ worth of scenes along Chandler and St. Charles streets in Boston’s South End. Filming will take place on May 18 and 19, “with many scenes going late into the night.”

Current plans call for filming to take place from 6 – 11 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18 and from 1 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 19. Set-up and break-down would take place from as early as 7 a.m. on both days to as late as 3 a.m. on Thursday.

The movie will mark the first big screen effort from Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane. It follows a man whose teddy bear comes to life as a result of a childhood wish and is still his best friend in adulthood.
