Even though Robert Pattinson only spent a few days shooting Water For Elephants in Tennessee, it apparently made quite an impression on him.
At Sunday night’s Academy of Country Music Awards, Rob’s co-star Reese Witherspoon asked him what he liked best about shooting in Tennessee and he replied, “I liked drinking a lot of Moonshine.”
Though their ACM bit was scripted, Rob did tell reporters earlier in the day that the combination of Moonshine and heat was brutal on the cast and crew.
“It was about 118 degrees,” Rob said of the heat wave they encountered while filming. “We were all dripping.”
“There was an amazing moonshine there,” Robert added. “One of the best days of the shoot. Drinking in 120 degrees…Half the crew is passed out after one sip. It’s amazing.”
Water For Elephants opens in theaters on April 22.
