If you can’t make it to today’s Matrix Awards Luncheon, either because you aren’t a member of New York Women in Communication, or you’re like us and you couldn’t afford the tickets, don’t worry, you can still get a taste of the event right from your desk this afternoon!

Lifetime Achievement Honoree: Betty White
Actress and comedian
You know her for: her starring role on Golden Girls, and guest-hosting Saturday Night Live. Plus, we hear that the octogenarian will be hosting a new NBC reality series in which a bunch of senior citizens go around punking young people.

Cindi Berger
Chairman and CEO, PMK*BNC Public Relations
You know her for: handling star clients like Mariah Carey, Shakira, John Legend, The Dixie Chicks, Jessica Simpson, and Barbara Walters. She also helped launch ABC’s The View.
Presenter: Rosie O’Donnell, talk show host and comedian.

Gwen Ifill
Senior Correspondent, The PBS NewsHour
Moderator and Managing Editor, Washington Week
You know her for: moderating the 2008 vice-presidential debate between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin. She’s also the author of the book The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.

Robin Koval
President, The Kapan Thaler Group
You know her for: collaborating with Linda Kaplan-Thaler to write “The Power of Small: Why Little Things Make All The Difference,” which was a Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Washington Post bestseller.

Idina Menzel
Tony Award-Winning Actress
You know her for: Her Tony Award-winning performance in Wicked, appearing in the movie “Enchanted,” and most recently, and her role on Glee as the coach of rival Glee club, Vocal Adrenaline. (We also love her hubby, Taye Diggs!)

Abbe Raven
President and CEO, A&E Television Networks
You know her for: spearheading the revitalization of A&E, launching it back into a top 10 network. In 2005, she became just the second president and CEO in the company’s history!

Sheryl Sandberg
Chief Operating Officer, Facebook
You know her for: helping to launch Google.org, Google’s philanthropic arm (before she moved to Facebook). Before Google, she was the Chief of Staff for the U.S. Treasury Department under Bill Clinton. In 2007, Mark Zuckerberg met her at a Christmas party and was impressed – and eventually brought her over to work for FB.

Gina Sanders
President and CEO, Fairchild Fashion Group

Editor in chief, Semi-Homemade Magazine; New York Times bestselling author and Food Network celebrity
You know her for: her “Semi-Homemade Cooking” show on Food Network.
