‘The Hunger Games’ Extras Casting Call in North Carolina this weekend!

It looks like the highly anticipated movie The Hunger Games will be shot in North Carolina as was previously rumored. The news was confirmed by an open casting call for the movie “Artemis,” the rumored working title for The Hunger Games.

The casting call seeks extras of all ages, but in particular children ages 12-18 and adults “with interesting character faces.”

Here is information for two upcoming open casting calls for the movie:

Saturday, April 16, 2011 Casting Call
10 AM – 1 PM
Cleveland Mall (Off Hwy. 74)

Sunday, April 17, 2011 Casting Call
12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Carolina Mall (Exit 58 off I -85)

I want to go so bad but I need more info like what to bring how to prepare anything really and how do I contact the people holing the auditions to let them know I’m coming or do we just wait I’m so confused

I SOOOOOOOO want to come try out for Rue. I am 12 years old and think i could play Rue, but i live in Armstrong, B.C. Armstrong is beside Vernon B.C if you know were that is.

I am excited about the Hunger Games. Can’t make it to the casting call and I really hope the name for the movie is not Artemis…it should be “THE HUNGER GAMES”

I’M GOING TO THE AUDITIONS!! My dad’s taking me on Sunday! I’m guessing that they need kids for the reaping, considering it said “children ages 12-18”. I really hope I get a part!!!

They already casted the main roles, so we might not get lines. It would just be fun to get to be on set I think. The Blue Ridge Mall in Hendersonville is having auditions for EXTRAS at 4-7.

I always wanted to play as Rue in THG but being an extra wont be so bad either!! I’m a good actress and this would be so awesome to be in!!
