2011 Year End Filming News Wrap-Up

So much happened in 2011 that, unfortunately, we couldn’t’ keep up with it all! So here are links to some of the movie news, filming locations, and fun stories that we made note of, but never had to time to cover in 2011.

Wonder whatever happened to Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg starring in Turkey Bowl?

Olivia Wilde is headed back to L.A. this month after shooting The Longest Week in NYC. She will be filming her next movie in L.A. from January 16 through the end of March.

John Travolta’s Gotti bio-pic was suppose to start filming this week, but will likely be pushed back after suffering a few financial set backs this fall.

Sandra Bullock will film Gravity sans make-up.

Brad and Angie were a hit at Cannes.

LACMA kicked off their gala series with Clint Eastwood in November.

Filming took place this year in Gastonia, NC for Call of Duty, a Screen Actors Guild Signatory Short Film written & produced by North Carolina State Trooper Darren Conrad.

The Bourne Legacy a.k.a Marcher is moving to Vancouver this month.

Robert De Niro is going to play Bernie Madoff in a new film.

Natural Law is set to begin filming in Wisconsin in February.
