Upcoming filming locations for ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ in Rhode Island

As we’ve previously reported, Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom has started filming in Rhode Island, and several sets have already been spotted!

According to one of our readers, E, the movie has been building sets on Aquidneck Island for a few weeks. “An old school bus was just delivered to the Michael’s/Barnes and Noble parking lot on West Main Road in Middletown. They are also renting space here to build sets. Trucks with wood show up daily, sometimes several times a day!  They repainted a school bus with lettering (for a boy scout camp). Also, at the Kennedy School location I could see some costumes in one of the rooms….”

Another one of our readers, Giuseppe spotted them filming on Prudence Island in R.I. on Friday and told us, “they were filming parts of the film here on Prudence today, they used our Ferry to film the 1950’s school bus arriving to The Island and they are also filming parts of the camp with the boy scouts here as well.”

The Providence Journal has also released several filming locations which are located on state-owned property, here’s the full list of those locations:

  1. Moonrise Kingdom started setting up early this morning in Arcadia. Thus far no signs of the stars but I am keeping a keen eye out!

  2. Whilke it’s hard to make comparisons due to the sheer amount of free and paid themes out there, it’s still a ood idea to have
a test blog site. As developers don’t know about
their clients, they have to guess what the target
clients might want in the theme. Next, you
will want to upload the folder containing your template to your Word – Press installation.
