Catch James Franco in NYC next week for his multimedia directorial debut, ‘Collage’

James Franco is about to make his debut as a dance theater director for the upcoming multimedia show Collage, at Stella Adler Studios in NYC.

“‘Collage’ is a mixed-media piece that uses sound and visuals to play with the idea of how different art mediums interact,” producer John Morrow says of the show. “Using video, dance, poetry, theater and music, we have created a performance that will be an engaging experience for the audience.”

James will not only be directing, he will also be narrating each performance.

James Franco ’11 (MFA candidate, Kanbar, Film) presents Collage, a multi-media piece featuring live dance, theatre, music and poetry. Choreography by Chloe Kernaghan from her show at Sixes and Sevens, acting by students from Stella Adler studios, poetry by Frank Bidart and narration by James Franco.
