One of our contributors, Tom Murro, sent us a few exclusive photos from The Good Doctor Premiere After Party, The Angels Crest Premiere After Party and a Vanity Fair Party he was lucky enough to attend, all of which were held a couple weeks ago during the Tribeca Film Festival.
Tom told us, “At The Good Doctor party, the movie’s star, Orlando Bloom, mingled around chatting with guests upstairs on the 5th floor Living Room at the Downtown W, while Paul Rudd sat in the corner with a full beard complaining about how exhausting it is to be an actor as he refused to take photos with the guests. Orlando told me to take some pics with him early in the night because he was going to get wasted and didn’t want to have any ugly drunk photos out there.”
Tom added, “While I was chatting with Orlando one of his female friends was telling a story and her ring flew in the air hitting me in the head before it landed on the dark crowded floor. She had Orlando and the entire section of people hands and knees looking for her ring, letting everyone know how expensive it was, probably not a good idea since it was never found. Open bar and passed cupcakes, lollipops and sweet treat until 3am. Orlando’s wife, Miranda Kerr, didn’t make the party.”
The Angels Crest party was held at 675 Bar on Hudson Street in NYC. Tom said that he met Jeremy Piven there, adding, “pretty cool guy, we shot some pool and had me take my pic with him a few times until he was satisfied with his smile, he may actually carry a mirror in his pocket. He plays a prosecutor in the film.”
He also noted, “Kate Walsh was much hotter in person than on Private Practice, she’s all legs and very sweet. I told her my wife loves the show and makes me watch it and that I secretly like the show but won’t tell my wife.”
When Tom met Mira Sorvino he said that her publicist insisted on taking the pic so she could approve of what made it out there.
The Vanity Fair party featured White Glove passed Hordorves and a top shelf open bar. Tom told us, “It wasn’t exactly a party but more like a high powered mixer. I chatted with many high profile people including Martha Stewart, Rupert Murdock, John McEnroe, Brian Grazer, Jerry Sienfeld, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Michael Douglas. The party was set outside on the top landing of the Courthouse steps.”
Tom also sent us several photos from the events, including pics he took with Ed Burns, Quincy Jones, Zack Braff, Raymond Kelly, and Robert De Niro which you can check out below.
Thanks to Tom for sharing his experience, its always interesting to hear what these high profile events are like “behind the scenes”. If you have a celeb story to share, let us know at olv@onlocationvacations.com!
