‘Avengers’ filming Updates: First set photos from New Mexico and Cincinnati added as filming location

SuperHeroHype recently scored the first photos from the New Mexico set of The Avengers. According to their tipster, “These were taken in Albuquerque, NM where they are filming the Avengers movie aka GH aka Group Hug. They have leased the old Santa Fe rail yard.”

We did some research and it sounds like their tipster is likely referring to the Albuquerque Rail Yards, which has been a popular filming location for other projects in the past. But, as far as we know, the vast majority of the New Mexico shoot will still be taking place in Albuquerque Studios.

In other Avengers news, it was also announced last week that in addition to their shoot in Cleveland, The Avengers will spend two weeks in Cincinnati this summer. Though we can’t be sure which Avengers will be at which locations, we have heard the Hulk will make an appearance in Cleveland.

According to one of our readers, @arod07, Mark Ruffalo was overheard talking about his schedule for the film at an event in New York City and said he “will be in Cleveland filming hulk scenes and he will begin filming in NYC on Sept 2.”
