Adam Sandler’s I Hate You, Dad, which also stars Andy Samberg, doesn’t begin filming in Boston until this summer, but they are already looking for extras.
According to Kristan Berona, of the L.A.-based Sande Alessi Casting, they need scores of locals for feature roles and background actors for shoots in Boston and on Cape Cod this summer.
“I need everything from grade-school kids to gang-bangers,” Berona said. “There’s not one category of person that’s not on my list, I kid you not.”
Berona is holding two open casting calls later this month, one in Boston and one on the Cape, the movie will shoot for about a month in Boston and a month in Hyannisport.
There will be an Open Casting Call held at Carson Place on Mount Vernon Street, Boston on May 21 and 22 and at Barnstable High School in Hyannis on May 28 and 29. Go to SandyAlessiCasting.com or “I Hate You Dad Extras Casting” on Facebook for more information.
