A new science fiction thriller, Mind’s Eye (not to be confused with the sci-fi movie Magic Eye which recently wrapped filming in Atlanta), begins filming in Boulder, CO this week.
The film stars Dean Cain, Malcolm McDowell, Rescue Me’s Natalie Distler, Izzie Steele, Aaron Perilo and Lucine Fyeton.
According to the production company, Black Wing, the movie follows Mattie Carver, a young high school musician who finds that space and time are collapsing around her, triggered by the resonant sound of her violin.
“Great ensembles of young actors have really hit the mark lately, in TV shows like ‘Glee’ and in films like the ‘Twlight’ series,” said producer Meryem Ersoz. “Our cast is a group of amazing up-and-coming young actors, together with established stars.”
