Move over Vancouver, Montreal may be the new Hollywood North.
In addition to two big budget projects already in the works, The Expatriate starring Aaron Eckhart and Brothers Grimm: Snow White starring Julia Roberts, it was recently announced that The Words will also be shot in Montreal this summer.
Bradley Cooper is set to star in the movie which begins shooting on June 2nd. Montreal will fill in for Paris and New York City once filming is underway.
The movie is the first feature directed by screenwriters Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, who co-wrote Tron: Legacy. The Words, which is a drama about a well-known writer who discovers that he is going to have to pay a hefty price for ripping off another guy’s work, will also star Dennis Quaid and Jeffrey Irons.
