According to AnnArbor.com, Five Year Engagement, starring Jason Segel and Emily Blunt, will be filming in downtown Ann Arbor, MI for the rest of the week and into early next week.
“Parking for the production team’s trucks on South Ashley, between William and Washington streets, was requested from today at 3 p.m. to Friday at 12 p.m. On Thursday, between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., the team’s trucks will be parked on North University, between Thayer and Fletcher. And on Thursday (beginning at 4 p.m.) and Friday (ending at 6 a.m.), South Main St., between Liberty and Washington, will be closed for filming, as will two alleys between Main and Ashley, and Liberty Street between Main and Ashley.”
The Real Seafood Company in downtown Ann Arbor also confirmed the filming, posting, “UNIVERSAL PICTURES will be setting up on 05/25, and filming on 05/26. They will be doing so on both Main, between William and Liberty, and on Liberty, between Main and Ashley. Filming begins at 4PM on 05/26. Café seating will be eliminated during this time, as the film is set in the winter. Traffic will be rerouted from 4PM on 05/26, until 6AM on 05/27.”
On Tuesday, May 31, the production will shoot exterior shots of Gratzi and The Chop House on South Main Street in the morning. And, apparently they must have really liked the Old Town Tavern because they will return to the location for a scene filming Tuesday night.
“Next Tuesday, from 5 a.m. to midnight, Ashley Street will be closed from William to Washington as planned “Engagement” filming takes place at Old Town Tavern, Gratzi, and The Chop House. West Liberty, between Main and Ashley, will also likely have some closures for exterior filming late in the day.”

Five Year Engagement is filming in Ypsilanti, MI on Friday, June 3rd. Set-up begins Thursday and continues on Friday which is when the filming will take place- location Washington Street (between Michigan Ave and Pearl Street)…and there will be snow!
