Even though the HBO series Hung is set in Michigan, the cast and crew spends most of their time filming in Los Angeles. But, for the next couple of weeks, they will be around Detroit to shoot exterior scenes for the upcoming third season.
Today, Hung is expected to shoot at Booth Park and at Hickory Hills Condominiums in Birmingham from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
We also heard that they will be filming at The Thai Cafe in Royal Oak, Michigan on Thursday and Friday (5.26-5.27) and the cafe is expected to be closed for filming.
Hung will continue filming in Michigan for the next couple of weeks. Their signs read “Hangman” so be on the lookout and be sure to let us know if you spot them filming!

Did not see the actual filming, but did see signs where the crew for “hangman” should park today. It was on Main St., just south of Lincoln (10 1/2). At least it confirms they are filming in Royal Oak today. Did also see some police lights in the downtown, which I have seen wroking with filming in the past.
Saw the crew filming at Hagelstein’s Bakery on the corner of Lincoln & Main st at 8:00 this morning.

yea there filming arcoss from OCC Royal Oak, at the Thai Cafe. I think i held up a shot for a couple seconds i walked into there shot . SORRY film crew!!!
