‘Have A Little Faith’ Begins Filming in Detroit on Monday, June 20, 2011

On Monday (June 20) Laurence Fishburne, Martin Landau and Bradley Whitford will begin shooting Have a Little Faith, a Hallmark Hall of Fame production, in Detroit.

The is based on Detroit Free Press columnist Mitch Albom’s best-selling nonfiction book of the same name about his relationship with his childhood rabbi and the pastor of a decaying church. The movie is expected to air on CBS in December.

Fishburne will play the late Rev. Henry Covington, while Landau is portraying the rabbi. Whitford will play Albom in the film.

Today, Ryan Hill Casting issued a new casting call for kids. According to Michiganacting.com, “Ryan Hill is looking to cast several more kids over the next few weeks for the feature film, Have a Little Faith. This film is scheduled to shoot Monday through Friday in Detroit and the surrounding areas starting on June 20th and will last 5 weeks. Most of the scenes requiring kids will not happen for at least another week. If you are interested in applying please email a current picture of your kids (and yourselves.
