According to our friends over at The Hob, The Hunger Games shoot may be moving to Charlotte, NC a couple of weeks early.
One of their readers reported that “filming will wrap this week at North Fork Reservoir, and then production will move to Charlotte this week for the Capitol scenes. It’s expected that they’ll remain there through most of August.”
The shoot was originally scheduled to move to Charlotte and Concord, NC on August 1 for all of the Capitol scenes. Filming was originally scheduled to take place on Aug. 1-3, 9-12, 15 and 22, but according to this latest report, the shoot may have been moved up.
Though, with that said, one of the movie’s stars, Jack Quaid (the son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid), was still in Asheville, NC as of last night when he tweeted, “Becoming an unofficial member of the Asheville Ghost-Hunters club with @DayoOkeniyi & @jackie_emerson.” Luckily for all of us, @RussBowenNews13 is on the case!
