Here’s a look at what’s filming on location Monday, August 1.

Filming in British Columbia:

• Elysium, starring Matt Damon, is filming at Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam through 8.2. (Thanks @oltv & @pursuit23)

Filming in California:

• An Untitled Western is filming at 112 W 5 St in L.A. (7:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.) and 615 S Broadway in L.A. (7:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.).

• Ringer is filming at 634 S. Spring St in L.A. (7:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.), AND 900 S Hope St, 2. S Hope St & W 9th St in L.A. (6:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.).

• The Drew Peterson Story is filming at 1100 Avenue 64 in Pasadena.

• The League is filming at 2017 E 7th St in L.A. (6 :00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.).

• The Mentalist shooting at a Fitness Center (playing a gym) in Woodland Hills. (via @goforlocation)

• House of Lies, starring Kristen Bell, is filming at 2000 E 8th St in L.A.

• Savages, starring Blake Lively, is filming around the Queens Way Bridge in Long Beach.

• Gossip Girl is also filming in L.A. (in addition to NYC), their base camp/parking is located at Melrose & N San Vicente in West Hollywood.

• NCIS is filming at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge.

Filming in Connecticut:

• The Wedding is filming at Christ church on Putnam Ave in Greenwich, CT through 8.4. (Thanks Diane)

• Are We There Yet is filming in studio (300 Stillwater, Stamford, CT).

Filming in Georgia:

• The Walking Dead is filming on Main St. in Sharpsburg, Georgia.

• What To Expect When You’re Expecting is filming at Smith’s Olde Bar in Midtown Atlanta.

UPDATE: Productions spotted on Spring St, on Juniper Street in Midtown Atlanta, and the Lowes Hotel (Peachtree & 11th) in Atlanta.

Filming in Illinois:

• The Untitled Ramin Bahrani Project, starring Zac Efron, (aka Heartland) has been spotted recently on Bastian Road in Hinckley, IL. They have been filming in Malta, DeKalb, Plano, Leland, and  Shabbona, IL. If you see them filming, let us know!

• Man of Steel has set up a base camp at IHOP in Aurora, IL. Today is expected to be the first day of filming, let us know if you spot them! FYI: At one point there was signs of filming at an industrial park in West Chicago, IL, but as Fri, there was nothing there.

UPDATE: The Superman shoot wrapped at IHOP last week.

Filming in Massachusetts:

• I Hate You Dad, starring Adam Sandler, is filming at 881-889 Sea View Ave in Osterville, MA. Tomorrow they are expected to move to Dennis, MA.

Filming in Michigan:

• Freaky Deaky has set up base camp at Oakland Christian Church at Adams and Silverbell roads in Oakland Township.

UPDATE: They may have wrapped at this location.

• Oz, The Great and Powerful, starring James Franco, is filming at Raleigh Studios in Pontiac, MI.

• AWOL is filming a large protest scene overnight tonight in downtown Ypsilanti, MI.

Filming in New Mexico:

•Odd Thomas is filming at Rufina St & Rufina Lnin Santa Fe, NM.

Filming in New York:

• Gods Behaving Badly is filming at Sands Point Preserve in Long Island.

• White Collar is filming in studio (Silvercup East, NYC). (I’m 99% sure about this, but if anyone can confirm, that would be great, thanks!)

• Gossip Girl is filming around Stanton and Essex in NYC. (Thanks @HolliIsbell)

• Girls is filming at/near the NY Aquarium in Brooklyn, NY tomorrow.

• Boardwalk Empire is filming at 24 Evans St in Brooklyn.

• A Gifted Man is filming around Nostrand and Myrtle Ave- Dekalb Ave in Brooklyn. They are also filming in studio (Silvercup East).

• Blue Bloods is filming around Diamond & Calyer St in Brooklyn. They are filming in studio & filming exteriors in that area during the day.

• The Dictator is filming at the Roosevelt Hotel (45 E. 45th Street, between Madison & Vanderbilt Aves) in NYC.

• I Just Want My Pants Back, a new MTV series, is filming in studio (Broadway Stages, Brooklyn).

• Unforgettable is filming on Main St on Roosevelt Island again.

• Pan Am is filming in studio (Steiner Studios, Brooklyn).

• The Phil Spector Project is filming at the Nassau County Court House in Mineola, NY. (Thanks @HereInNYC)

• Summer At Dog Dave’s, starring Morgan Freeman, is still filming around Elm St and Windermere Ave, Greenwood Lake, NY.

• The Place Beyond The Pines, starring Ryan Gosling, is filming at the Dairy Circus in Schenectady this week.

UPDATE: Filming at Dairy Circus will take place on Thursday. Heard they are filming at a gas station in Schenectady today.

FYI:  Royal Pains is on hiatus this week.

Filming in North Carolina:

• The Hunger Games begins filming Capitol scenes in studio today at the old Phillip Morris plant in Concord, NC. They are expected to shoot through the end of August. (via @RussBownen13 & @TheHobOrg)

Filming in Ohio:

• The Avengers is filming in Wilmington, OH through 8.4. Details about the shoot can be found here.

Filming in Pennsylvania:

• Backwards, starring James Van Der Beek, is filming at locations around Philly, including the Art Museum and a house near the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr.

• The Dark Knight Rises continues filming in Pittsburgh this week. See all the movie’s upcoming filming locations and discuss with other fans here!

Filming in Louisiana:

• Leatherface 3D is filming at the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant in Minden.

  5. There is a new cop drama for CBS called “The 2-2” , f/k/a “Rookies” when they shot the pilot, which starts shooting 8/8/11. This stars Leelee Sobieski and is being produced by Robert De Niro’s production co. It will be a mid-season replacement for CBS.

    • Hard to know exactly. I think they are in Pittsburgh for at least 3 weeks, maybe longer. The permits the production co. took out with the city say they were needed thru 12/30/11, so it could be any time before the end of the year. No casting calls at all yet.

  14. SVU looking for baseball players that can actually play for Wed. 8/3, so it looks like they will be on location that day. Should be filming on a baseball field somewhere, maybe in Central Park, so look for signs for Wed.

  15. Is there any news on NOLA filming? I see the crews and notices all around the City but it is never listed here like it used to be. What’s up?

    do you ever get any info on “mad men?” after bumping into January jones at wholefoods, I started watching the show…. Now I’m hooked!!

    • Casting calls indicate they’ll be on location on Wed. but I have no idea where. One was looking for baseball players that have equipment & can really play and I think the other one was looking for dancers. Go figure.

  25. I heard that filming of the Paperboy with Zac Efron was moved from July to August, but if Zach is in Illinois filming that must not be true. Has anyone heard when they will start filming in New Orleans, Louisiana.
