‘The Bourne Legacy’ expected to film in New Rochelle, NY this fall

According to The Journal News, Jeremy Renner may be spending some time in New Rochelle, NY this fall.

The paper is reported that Universal Pictures has asked the city for permission to shoot scenes at Ward Acres, New Rochelle’s biggest park, for an upcoming action movie known as Marcher, which is the working title for The Bourne Legacy.

The movie is the fourth film in the Bourne series, with Jeremy Renner taking over in the lead from Matt Damon.

The New Rochelle scenes will be shot over three days in early November and will require the construction of a two-walled replica house, which would then be torched.

Preparation work is slated to last about a week, beginning Oct. 24.

Here is how Universal described the scene: “Car pulls up driveway to front of house, driver runs into the house (pre-fire). … Car pulls through the woods and arrives at burning house. … Marta and Aaron run through the forest. … A bloodhound noses through the forest.”

The Bourne Legacy begins filming in New York City on September 6. If you have any scoop about the movie, or spot them filming, let us know at olv@onlocationvacations.com!
