Is ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ planning to film a big scene on the Queensboro Bridge in NYC?

Several Batman fan sites are reporting that The Dark Knight Rises will be filming at Queensboro Bridge when they begin filming in NYC later this fall. Apparently, they will be shooting a big scene on the bridge. They are also expected to shoot at the New York Stock Exchange, and other Manhattan locations.

As we reported, TDKR will wrap up shooting in Pittsburgh by the end of the month, and then they’ll spend a few weeks filming in L.A., before moving to NYC.

  1. If they do shoot on the 59th St bridge and the NY Stock Exchange, both locations would require weekend only filming. Sometimes, though, very minor shooting occurs weekdays on the 59th St bridge, but anything major would be done on a weekend only…
