Jesse Eisenberg talks about Facebook, NYC, & his upcoming play at the Apple SoHo store

One of our contributors, Denise, attended the Q & A at with Jesse Eisenberg at the Apple SoHo store in New York City last Friday and sent us a few photos from the event.

She also said, “It wasn’t that long of a Q&A (about 30 min). He took a lot of questions from the audience. Some of the things that stood out was he said he is not on Facebook or Twitter. He said since he lives in NYC, he is surrounded by media all the time so he doesn’t feel the need to be around any more. He also commented about a line his character makes in “30 Minutes or Less” about Facebook. A lot of people think it was deliberately done as a wink to his previous role, but he said he would never do something like that (make reference to another movie he was in). He thinks that would be ridiculous and he only said it because his character would say it. He also said he never reads anything about himself or watches anything he is in. Someone in the audience asked him about an article she read where it referenced him and Michael Cera and the “wimpy” roles they tend to play. He wasn’t aware of it and laughed it off saying “thank you for coming and bringing that with you.” He is also debuting a new play this fall he wrote called “Asuncion.” He will be starring in it with Justin Bartha. He seemed a little shy because he kept looking down while he was talking, but he was also very funny. He took some time afterwards to pose for photos with fans.”

Check out a few of Denise’s photos below and don’t forget, if you have photos to share, you can send them our way at olv@onlocationvacations.com!
