On September 17, one of our readers, Susan, and her daughter Savanna, attended the L.A. Premiere of Dolphin Tale at the Westwood Regency Theater.
She told us that the movie was wonderful and afterwards they ran into the lobby to see if they could spot the movie’s star, Harry Connick Jr., as he was leaving.
Susan explained, “We just missed Morgan Freeman by a few seconds and I thought I missed my chance to meet Harry. Well once everyone came out I turned around and there he was behind me by the snack bar talking to one of his beautiful daughters. I waited until he finished talking to his daughter, my chance had arrived. I asked for a picture and he said “Sure, of course”. What a dreamy guy and a dream come true for me! I’ve met sooo many celebs but thought I would have never met him in a million years!”

Dolphin Tale is based on the true story of Winter, a dolphin rescued by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and fitted for an artificial tale by an outstanding team of vets and doctors after she was caught in a crab trap. You can visit Winter at the Clearwater Aquarium in Florida.
