Admittedly, we’re a little behind posting the rest of the submissions we received for our September Photo Contest, but we’re working on getting caught up this week so we can turn the voting over to you! So, here’s our eighth submission in from Emily, who met Mariska Harigtay on the set of SVU.
About her submission, Emily told us, “My favorite show is SVU, and I’d always wanted to meet Mariska Hargitay on set. When I was finally able to, my friends and I had one of the BEST experiences ever. This (above) is a picture of Mariska with my friend on the set of Law & Order: SVU. My friend, Christina, was wearing a button with Christopher Meloni’s face on it. When Mariska saw the button, she became insanely excited, shouting, “Oh my God! You have a Meloni!” She crouched down next to my friend, making a pouting face, and had her assistant snap a picture on her iPhone to send to Chris, letting him know how much she — and the fans — missed him being on set!”
Emily continued, “This (below) is a photo of all of us with Mariska (I’m on the left!). She was so incredibly sweet and funny and down-to-Earth, and meeting her was one of the best experiences of my life. Thank you so much, OLV for making this all possible!!”

Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos with us and tell what happened. I had seen this picture of Mariska and I crouched funny but did not understand what was happening. And I really miss Chris.
