The Palms Springs International Film Festival just announced that they will honor George Clooney with the Chairman Award during the festival, taking place between January 5 and 16, 2012.
Michelle Williams will also be honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Actress Award for her role as Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn.
The Black Tie Awards Gala, where both stars will be presented with their awards, will be held on Jan. 7 at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, CA. Tickets for the event can be purchased at www.psfilmfest.org.
