Community fans aren’t taking the removal of their favorite show from NBC’s mid-season line-up lying down.
Fans have come together on Facebook and Twitter and are ready to Occupy Rockefeller Center (which is also NBC’s New York headquarters) tomorrow afternoon where they will sing a special Christmas carols in protest.
Loyalists to the show, which stars Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Donald Glover and Chevy Chase, are organizing the flash mob on Twitter via the hashtags #SaveCommunity and #OccupyNBC.
Fans will hit the plaza outside Rock Center at 1 p.m. tomorrow to sing songs from the show’s recent musical holiday episode.
Though they’ve taken the show off their schedule, NBC has said it expects Community to return to the air eventually.
