Emily Blunt is expected to hit the red carpet for The Palm Spring Film Festival opening night screening of Salmon Fishing In The Yemen tonight.
The movie, which was directed by Lasse Hallström, is “the tale of fly-fishing and political spinning, of unexpected heroism and late-blooming love and of an attempt to prove the impossible, possible.” Ewan McGregor, Kristen Scott Thomas, and Emily Blunt star in the Salmon Fishing, based on Paul Torday’s acclaimed novel, which will open in limited release on March 9, 2012.
The screening will be held at the Palm Springs High School followed by the Opening Night Reception at the Palm Springs Art Museum.
