Tonight, Daniel Radcliffe spoke about his upcoming project, Kill Your Darlings, for the first time on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
The thriller focuses on the relationships between Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and Lucien Carr which eventually ends up with them caught up in murder. While Radcliffe will play Ginsberg, Elizabeth Olsen is set to play Edie Parker, the wealthy art-student girlfriend of Jack Kerouac, who will be played by Jack Huston. Dane Dehaan rounds out the cast as Carr, a key member of the Beat Generation in the 1940’s.
Though Radcliffe has been attached to the film for a few months, tonight was the first time he personally confirmed his role in the movie. He also confirmed that Kill Your Darlings will be shot in New York City.
Several websites are also reporting that the shoot will be centered around the Columbia University area and will begin in March.
