Another big Hollywood movie began filming in Glasgow this week.
Last year the city hosted Under The Skin, Cloud Atlas, and World War Z, and this year is already off to a busy start as Jamie Bell and James McAvoy begin filming their movie Filth in the Scottish city.
Jamie and James portray police partners in the film. James plays “a bipolar bigoted junkie cop, and Jamie plays his sidekick younger cop.”
Yesterday, Bell tweeted about their first day of filming, writing:
“Driving home from today’s first day of work on #Filth. This was our shooting location somewhere in Glasgow” with the photo below:
The film is set for a 2012 release date.
