If you’ve never been to San Diego International Comic-Con, consider Morgan Spurlock’s new documentary your training manual.
The Doc God brought his camera along to the Con in 2010, where he joined forces with geek icons Stan Lee and Joss Whedon, and has turned that footage into Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope.
Spurlock doesn’t appear on screen himself, but instead relies on other famous geeks -like Kevin Smith – to tell their stories about attending Comic-Con.
The annual event is not only the ultimate on location vacations for pop culture fans, it is also an incredible opportunity for up and coming comic-creators to make contacts which seems to be the aspect Spurlock is most interested in focusing on in the film.
