Continuing with our Hunger Games coverage this evening in honor of the movie’s release, we’ve discovered a way for fans to find out if they have what it takes to survive in the Hunger Games.
As we reported last year, much of The Hunger Games was shot in North Carolina’s DuPont Recreational Forest, and this year Hunger Games Fan Tours is inviting fans to spend time exploring that very location.
The tours allow fans to not only discover the movie’s filming locations in DuPont, but also learn fundamental survival skills they would need to survive in the Hunger Games.
Fans can spend one day or an entire weekend in the now famous woods while learning skills like camo-face painting and shelter building.
Day trips will take place on May 26, May 27, July 14, July 15, Aug. 11, and Aug. 12. Tickets cost $79, including a shuttle to DuPont and a Hunger Games style lunch.
Weekend trips, which include a Hunger Games Simulation, will take place on April 27 – 29, June 8 – 10, June 22 – 24, July 27 – 29, August 24-26, and September 21 – 23 and cost $389 per person.
