Hugh Jackman was spotted in character as Jean Valjean for the big screen adaptation of the musical Les Misérables in Oxford, England on Thursday.
The shoot was taking place on location in a church graveyard where Hugh sported a long straggly beard, dirty clothes and a partially shaved head.
The movie also stars Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Russell Crowe, who plays Valjean’s nemesis, Inspector Javert.
Yesterday, Hugh took a break from the set to launch his new brand, Laughing Man, a collection of ethical teas, coffee, chocolate and gifts. The products can be purchased at the luxury UK department store, Harvey Nichols or online. While at the launch, Hugh tweeted, “Launched @livelaughingman in London! Very exciting. Check us out – 5th floor @harvey_nichols! Keep laughing man!!!”
