As we’ve reported, the Coen Brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis is currently filming in NYC but, over the weekend, they were also filming in the Coen’s home state of Minnesota.
A second unit filmed driving scenes around Faribault and Medford because they reportedly needed “winter looking streets” for the film. “We’re just doing shots of country roads and entrances and exits off 2 lane highways,” said Anne Healy.
Though the Coens and the movie’s stars skipped the Minnesota shoot, there was a casting call last week for photo doubles for the movie’s stars John Goodman, Oscar Isaac, and Garrett Hedlund.
Due to the early spring, the shoot was moved up more than a week. The Minnesota portion of filming was expected to wrap up yesterday.
