New ‘Skyfall’ Behind-the-Scenes video, Daniel Craig says he wants to continue as Bond until he is fired

As filming on the next James Bond film, Skyfall, continues in London, the BBC recently caught up with leading man Daniel Craig and got a rare behind-the-scenes look at the movie.

There was also great news for those who love to see Daniel Craig as James Bond. According to the actor he would like to continue as Bond until he is fired by the studio.

Craig says he feels honored to have been chosen to portray the British spy and has no plans to leave the franchise yet. He told the BBC, “I will keep going until they tell me to stop,” he did however add “I am under no illusions, I know there will be someone after me and hopefully someone after them again. It is just being part of that process.”

Though he may not always play Bond, Craig will open the 2012 Olympic Games ceremony after a personal invitation from The Queen. The Sun reports she asked him to visit Buckingham Palace recently to film spectacular scenes as 007 for London’s Olympics. In the short film, “he arrives by Royal Appointment to be told his latest mission is to launch the Games. ”

Currently, Skyfall is being filmed at the legendary Pinewood studios and on location in the UK.  Previously, scenes have also been filmed in Turkey and Shanghai.

Skyfall also stars Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem and Ben Whishaw, and is slated for a  worldwide release in October 2012.
