The Tribeca Film Festival is in full swing this weekend with events taking place all across New York City.

Here’s our pick of the fest’s top 5 movie premieres taking place Friday (4/20) – Sunday (4/22):

Fairhaven

Friday, 4/20 5:30PM AMC Loews Village 7 – 3

Jon (writer/director Tom O’Brien) is well past his glory days on the football field and now coping with life as a single man in his small hometown of Fairhaven, Mass. With the decision to give up his day job on the waterfront, dedicating himself to a full-time writing career, he increasingly seeks honesty and purity in life.

Take This Waltz

Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen star as a happily married couple whose life is thrown out of order when Margot (Williams) falls in love a neighbor.

Francophrenia

When James Franco signed up for an acting gig on the soap opera General Hospital, he brought along a crew to film behind-the-scenes action on set at Los Angeles’ Museum of Contemporary Art, creating a glimpse into the strange world of celebrity in both its public and private moments.

In the countryside near Canada, smooth-talking heist man Addison (Eric Bana) and his femme fatale sister Liza (Olivia Wilde) are on the run with a bag full of cash from a casino job.

Freaky Deaky

Sunday, 4/22 3:30PM SVA Theater 1 Silas

This filmed-Michigan drama follows a disgraced Detroit cop who gets a shot at a comeback when a beautiful young actress needs help taking down a powerful movie producer. After the Movie the audience is invited to stay for a conversation with director/screenwriter Charles Matthau and actors Crispin Glover, Michael Jai White, and Andy Dick.
