Lea Michele spotted filming scenes for ‘Glee’ today in NYC’s Grand Central Terminal!

This morning Lea Michele was spotted filming a scene for Glee in Grand Central Terminal. In the scene they were shooting, Lea was wearing a bright red coat and matching hat while pulling a suitcase behind her. She was also spotted filming outside the station.

Obviously, the scene captures Rachel’s arrival in NYC but the question is, will Finn be with her?

Though Cory Monteith was spotted at today’s shoot, there is some question about whether or not he actually filmed any scenes today or if he was just hanging out with his on and off-screen girlfriend, Lea.

This morning we received a couple of tips and pics from the shoot from our readers but initially there was some confusion over what they were filming, especially since there were signs for the FOX pilot The Asset also posted nearby.

But, it was confirmed to be Glee thanks to a few photos of the crew that include the show’s creator, Brad Falchuk.

UPDATE: The Glee shoot and The Asset shoot turned out to be one in the same. They were using the “Asset” signs for the Glee shoot, obviously in an attempt to keep it under wraps.

In addition to the Grand Central shoot, Michele was spotted filming something in Madison Square Park and The Plaza too.

Of course everyone wants to know if they are filming tomorrow but honestly, I’m not sure. So, if you spot them tomorrow or have any pics to share, let us know via email at olv@onlocationvacations.com.

If you missed Lea today, she is also expected to be at the Met Costume Ball tomorrow night, so you may be able to catch her arriving there. If you’re in L.A., Glee will be filming at 115 S June St, Los Angeles on May 10 from 7 am – 6 pm.

Finally I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who sent info via twitter and email, especially @jaimiesarubbi who shared the pic above. You can see more photos at ONTD-Glee too.

  1. […] According to On Location Vacations, “In a stage they were shooting, Lea was wearing a splendid red cloak and relating shawl while pulling a container behind her.” we can usually design a stage now: She’s walking down a street/sidewalk pulling a container with a outrageous grin on her face holding in her surroundings. My usually doubt is: How can any of these kids means to live in NYC? Have they saved adult a good volume of money, or have jobs lined up? […]
