First look at Michelle Trachtenberg and Leighton Meester on the set of ‘Gossip Girl’ Season 6

Thanks to one of our readers, Charlene, we have some more information about the Gossip Girl shoot currently taking place in Long Island.

On Friday, Charlene found the house on Round Swamp Rd in Melville where they are  filming (see the photo below) and then followed the signs (“GG”) to the base camp at the Sunquam Elementary School, 515 Sweet Hollow Rd where she met Michelle Trachtenberg and Leighton Meester while they were on break from shooting.

Here’s what Charlene told us about meeting Michele and Leighton:

Nobody was at the set and I decided it would be best for me to wait at the base camp figuring I would have a higher chance of meeting them when they broke for lunch. I sat out in the sun in front of the school for about 4 hours in total. I was giving up hope when vans started pulling in with people in them. Most of them where people I didn’t recognize, probably extras. Than finally I saw someone. It was Michelle. I called her name and she turned around and answered me. I asked if I could have a picture. She said sure they were just going to get some food first. I said okay and than when I turned around I saw that Leighton had just gone into her trailer. I cursed myself figuring I had missed my chance to talk to her, but a few seconds later she came out again, with a small dog. She walked around, playing with it. I noticed a couple of girls who I had thought worked there go up to Leighton and ask for a picture. I quickly followed asking the same thing, she smiled and said sure. She than asked one of the other girls if they could take the picture. When it was done I thanked her and than asked if that dog was hers, she said yes. I heard her ask a guy if she could walk in the garden (at least I think that’s what she said) as I was leaving. I went back up to wait for Michelle to come back out of the school. A short time later she did. She smiled at me and asked if I was ready. I said yes and the guy friend she was with asked if I would like him to take the picture. After that I again thanked her and said have a great day, she said thanks you two.

According to a few recent casting calls the Long Island shoot, which started last Thursday, is a gay wedding scene. If you decide to check it out, let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com!

Thanks again to Charlene for sharing her photos and story!
