SDCC 12 TV Panel Highlights: The Vampire Diaries, Psych, Fringe, & more!

Here are a few highlights from some of the best TV panels at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con:

– During the Vampire Diaries panel Ian and Nina talked about how Elena is going to struggle with her new self next season. “Elena was a badass girl, and now she’s a badass vampire girl and can take care of herself,” Ian Somerhalder said. “It’s going to add a really interesting dynamic between [Stefan, Damon and Elena]… and I think they’ll learn a lot together in a really short amount of time.” Nina Dobrev added, “How do you make Elena, the vampire, different from her [human] self? It’s going to be difficult, and I think it’s going to [depend on] her experiences… Everything’s going to be heightened and she’s constantly going to be struggling with what she is.” (Read More)

– Joe Manganiello gave the crowd a taste of his Magic Mike body roll at the True Blood panel and the crowd went wild. (See More)

– In season three of Being Human Aiden will get free from that pesky coffin after a 15 month stay. (Read More)

Fringe was renewed in part because they shot footage for next season before wrapping last season. “It’s going to pick up exactly where we left off in 419,” Joel Wyman said. “It came back brilliantly.” (Read More)
