The Sandra Bullock/Melissa McCarthy buddy cop movie, The Heat, continue filming in Boston, MA this week. Today the movie was filming on Broad St in Boston and, according to UniversalHub.com, the movie will cause a “big boom” in Dorchester this weekend.
The Heat will be filming at the Old Norfolk Tap in Uphams Corner, beginning at 7 a.m. on Sunday (8.26). Nearby residents have received a notice stating, “they will blowing up a car sometime on Sunday afternoon on Norfolk Avenue, so you will probably hear a big boom. ALL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE BEING TAKEN AND COORDINATED WITH THE CITY.”

In addition to The Heat, The House Across The Street has also been filming nearby in Hanover for the past couple of weeks. The indie thriller stars Eric Roberts as a cop and Alex Rocco (the voice behind Moe on The Simpsons) as his stepfather. And, another indie, Orchard House, has just wrapped filming in Grafton, MA.

That is what I thought but the article I referenced said this guy had done it so I thought maybe he had done it before at some point…if you follow the link you’ll see the source article…or I thought maybe HA wasn’t going to do it any longer…I did think that was strange but it was in one of the major Boston papers so I thought they would know what they were talking about…guess no one can be trusted…
