It was no surprise that last weekend’s casting call for August: Osage County drew more than 4000 people (who wouldn’t want to be in a movie with Julie Roberts and Meryl Streep?!) but the producers are still looking for potential extras for the film.
The next open casting call for August will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Bartlesville High School, 1700 S.E. Hillcrest Drive, Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
The movie, based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning play of the same name, will spend eight weeks filming in the Bartlesville and Pawhuska, OK areas beginning Sept. 24.
